Farm fields along Ferndale Road and Marine Drive between Ferndale and the Nooksack River delta, including WDFW's Nooksack Unit. Trumpeter and tundra swans graze the fields in winter, with eagles, hawks and ducks along the river.
Swans fly in from night roosts at Lake Terrell and Tennant Lake to feed; arrive early to catch them landing.
